VirtueMart is an add-on component for Joomla which adds shopping cart functionality to the CMS.

Manual Installation

*NOTE*: Please ensure you have backed up any files in your public_html web directory before performing the following. It is recommended that your public_html directory is empty before performing the installation.

Installation is very easy. Simply go to the VirtueMart website and download the latest 'Complete' package from the website.
Upload the compressed file to your Farbyte public_html directory using an FTP client application or the cPanel FileManager utility.
Login to cPanel, go to FileManager, navigate to public_html directory and unzip the package file.
Finally, using your web browser, go to your website URL (e.g. www.yourdomain.co.uk) and follow the instructions presented.
